The Journey Behind the Buckle

Hi, I’m Vivian Hoffman, the founder and designer behind Brooklyn Buckles. My design journey actually started with jewelry—crafting unique, lightweight earrings out of leather. Working with leather opened up a world of texture, color, and design possibilities, and before long, my curiosity led me to explore a new canvas: belt buckles.

I began experimenting by incorporating leather into buckle designs, adding distinctive accents like hand-selected leather trims and bold stud detailing. What started as a small personal project quickly captured the imagination of friends, family, and jewelry lovers alike. Before I knew it, a passion project had blossomed into a full-time business.
